something a little bit strange

Hi Folks,

Something a little bit strange happened this morning.  I thought I would share it with you.

I wake up at 6:00am every morning.  If I happen to oversleep, my alarm goes off at both 6:00am and at 6:30am to make sure I don't waste my day.  My body is adjusted to this time, and I am normally awake when the first alarm goes off at 6:00am.  Which it is about to do right now, in fact.

But this morning I woke up at 4:30am.  I don't know why...maybe it was my dream.

I dreamt that I was somehow able to talk to Angelina Jolie (yes, the actor), and that she would be interested in the Miskito Indians.  Weird huh?

Normally, if something like that happened, I would just roll over and go right back to sleep.  I couldn't do that this morning.

SO...I got up and wrote a letter to Ms. Jolie.  I have no idea where to send it to, or even if she would care about our people here in Puerto Cabezas.

     Anyone have an address?  grin!

Another week, another lifetime

Hi Folks,

It really seems as though each week is a lifetime here in Nicaragua!  SO MUCH goes on in a week.

We became the proud Godparents of a three month old little boy today.  We met a man who has been in the lumber business (Theodore) for over 16 years (we were in the process of evacuating a man that had a severe kidney infection...blood in his urine, etc).  We preached on three separate occasions.  We took the Zodiac boat out for a "field test" (which it PASSED, really well).

We spent the entire week in bible classes, from 08:00am until 5:00pm every day last week.  (In Spanish of course.  We did presentations, and research papers...all in Spanish)

It (like every other week here) was just a busy week.

We are excited about Walter and Carla Davis coming for a visit to Puerto Cabezas this next week.  Walter and Carla are only able to come for a little over a week but we are expecting great blessings to be had by the people here in Puerto that meet them.  We have arranged a BUSY WEEK for them TOO!

Please keep our mission in your prayers folks.  All is well, but many "things" are still simmering on the stove of prayer!
